Um....we don't have one? Does that make us weird?

We just never have had one song. There's many that we both love (and just as many that I love and he doesn't, and vice versa).

I got a card from ASC yesterday in the mail (and btw, it was postmarked 23 May. almost 4 weeks. really?). In it, he told me to YouTube the song "Life Ain't Always Beautiful" by Gary Allan. I'd heard pieces of it before, but never in its entirety, and never really letting the lyrics sink in.

It's not just a song for us, for right now, because I can quickly pick a dozen other times in my life when the words would've rang true, but it certainly hits home right now. Like ASC said, it "helps put it all in perspective."
