day 80: family left behind

Day 4 Military Photo Challenge: Post a pic of the family your Marine left behind to defend our country

This is the Conger 5 at the Christmas Eve service at church.

Luckily for us, 2 things coincided: 1.) Aaron was able to take a few days leave and 2.) a generous soul from church volunteered to pay to fly him home

That was enough of a Christmas gift for me.
