day 159: hours, days, and weeks

When people think to ask me about Aaron, it's usually one question.

"When does he get to come home?"

And when I tell them, I usually get, "Well that isn't long!" or "That'll be here before you know it!"

And I know they mean well, but neither response is true. To me, anyways.

Yes, theoretically, it's not that long from now, and it will be here before I know it.

But I don't live in a theoretical world.

It's as if time travels at a much different speed living in this dimension of life.

It will be soon....but right here, right now, the seconds feel like hours.
