140: two milestones

1.) Monthly haircut at J.C. Penney's with my newfound (as of January) fav stylist Amanda. I can be a tad bit picky about who cuts my hair and how, and I tend to feel rather uncomfortable at the chatter forced upon me by stylists. But that said, I love Amanda. And I love talking to her. Maybe because she reminds me a tad bit of my sister. And while she was talking, I realized something: only two more. Haircuts, that is, until he's home.

2.) Remember how the kids are keeping a book, writing/drawing on a page each day until Daddy's home? They started it on 16 March, the day he was propelled thousands of miles away from them. And today, they wrote on the very last page. They filled that entire notebook up, all 140 pages of it. Good thing I've got a second one waiting for them.
