day 7: just wondering

Today, there's just not much to say.

No funny things that my girls said.

No stories to share that tie in to some bigger idea.

No phone calls or texts, still, from ASC.

I haven't heard from him in almost 5 days now.

I made myself wait until just 24 hours had passed (that was about as long as I could stand) before I texted him.

No response yet.

The busy-ness of the week helps to push us along, and that's okay.

But I know that here in a minute, when I go to lay my head down on my pillow, I won't be able to hit the pause button in my mind.
