day 16: loneliness

A book that I was furiously reading last night, because I was so close to the end and couldn't stand to go to bed before finishing it, had this quote on page 367:

"Loneliness in a crowd of people was the worst kind of loneliness, but she couldn't help it."

I couldn't agree more.
