day 12: not much

One thing I'm wondering: do I keep blogging every day of this deployment, even the days when I feel that I have nothing profound to offer?

Cause that was today.

Church, lunch with friends, phone call from Aaron, lazy afternoon with a nap (for only me), playing the Wii, nail painting, movie night.

No cute things my kids said, no new discoveries, no big ah-ha moments.

Just a day that felt frighteningly normal. So normal, actually, that when I woke up from my nap to find the girls all playing Wii together (and, surprisingly, not fighting), in a slight daze from the nap and cold medicine, I glanced over to the love seat, halfways expecting to see Aaron taking his Sunday afternoon nap there as well. No such luck. Not that normal of a Sunday.
