day 77: his pic and 10 facts

(So I came across a 30-day photo challenge, but tweaked for military wives.

And....even though you may not be privy to my current semi-writer's block, it's still there.

And I figured.....I can do this.

And I realized.....once these 30 days are up, it'll be July.

One month closer to seeing him again.)

Day 1: Post a photo of your Marine and list 10 facts about him.

1.) He hates to shave. Not a good quality when you're in the Marines and are required to do so daily.

2.) He often got in trouble as a kid for staying up too late reading when he should've been sleeping.

3.) He holds very high standards for himself and others.

4.) He has a thing for the Spice Girls song "Wannabe."

5.) He can fix anything. And if he doesn't know how, he'll figure it out anyways.

6.) He's 6'3" and, for the first time in a long time, weighs more than me.

7.) He doesn't like fresh pears. Or peaches. He'd rather have them from a can.

8.) He had his kindergarten picture taken in a Marine Corps t-shirt.

9.) He received a Marine of the Year award many years ago.

10.) He's mine :)
