day 194: Sunday morning realization
This morning it hit me, sitting in a chair, next to no one, waiting on friends to come and sit by me, that in a few Sundays, I won't have to wait for that anymore.
I'll be able to walk into church next to someone.
And sit next to him.
And hold his hand the whole time, if I want to.
And that'll mean that I'll have to set my alarm just a little earlier for Sundays, to make sure that four others, not just three, are up and dressed in time.
And then after church, at home, we'll get to fight over who gets the Sunday paper ads first.
And I'll have to wake him up from his nap on the couch when lunch is ready.
And football games will be much more fun to watch, with his commentary, his yelling at the tv, and him sitting beside me.
In just a few Sundays.
