I really don't mind

Today was the kind of day when your daughter runs to get you from morning devotions because your other daughter just threw up in your classroom (luckily it all hit the trash can), so you get to stay home with a mildly sick kid all day while it snows outside.

Yep. It was that kind of day.

And luckily, I'm not out of days to take off (yet).
And she only got sick that one time.
And took a 2 1/2 hour nap.

Which meant I played Legos, made Ramen Noodles and slushy drinks, tackled laundry, dishes, and finished up grades for this semester.

And in the midst of all of that, standing at the kitchen sink scrubbing last night's dishes, it hit me: as long as I'm just home being a mom and wife (minus the job), I really, honestly don't mind the chores and tasks and errands. Those mundane things that have to get done seem to be not so mundane when I don't have to juggle mom, wife, and teacher at the same time. Huh.

On a completely separate tangent, I made two discoveries in the past week, two other things I really don't mind. Actually, I have a mild obsession with them. Here they are:
